However, if the North Carolina General Assembly passes the new tax law this year, I may be out of the affiliate marketing business. We'll see how it goes.

The NC General Assembly did, indeed, pass the new tax law with the Nexus language in it, and the Governor signed it. This will have a serious effect on my affiliate marketing business, and I've already been dropped by several merchants just because I live in North Carolina.

In fact, Amazon.com was one of the first to drop me as an affiliate, and that was after working hard for them for over a decade. That's a lot of work to lose.
