How Do You Define Success?Everyone thinks about success a little differently. You may have a very narrow definition of success, such as wealth, power, and influence. Or, you may think that personal relationships, security, or satisfaction are more important. Before we can work on succeeding, it is important to understand more about how each of us defines success and how we, as a group, think about this concept and the things that surround it. Why is this important? If each of us has a different perception of what success is, but we're using similar phrases in discussing it, then it is easy to misunderstand what we're saying. I may use a phrase that means one thing to me, but you may think of that concept, using that same phrase, as something very different.
